I might as well share since I've been on a heavy Throwing Muses kick lately.
Such a great band. Kristin Hersh and company at their finest.
FYI - for anyone who doesn't know, the pixie-esque blond to her left is Tanya Donnelly of Belly fame and also her half-sister. Kristin's book Rat Girl is a wild and weird read and I highly recommend it.

both of them had great careers after muses. Tanya is a friend of mines cousin. Um since we are fairly anonymous... WANT
and btw have any interest in Sunday of this show in boston? Built to Spill, brand new, modest mouse? http://bostoncalling.com/lineup

Sorry, going to be in Chicago this weekend! Wasn't that thrilled with this year's Boston Calling lineup, and not a festival person much (I don't like big crowds). Liked a couple of the bands but the usual Starship-fest thing they do in Union Square every summer is more my speed with local bands like Mean Creek and whatnot.

yeah my girl convinced me to go. I had a few extra tix. I really just want to see Built to Spill and MM. I might throw Tegan and Sarah out of there though

Heh.... the reason I'll be in Chicago is my gf bought us plane/hotel tickets for my birthday since I had never been.
Basically, we're going so we can eat at Kuma's, Hot Doug's, and the Girl and the Goat.

nice! I am off to New Orleans this weekend on the same exact sort of junket!
Dont miss Gene's Sausages either. They have a restaurant there among many other great German places
